Hasaacas Ladies maintain home winning streak with a vital 3–0 trouncing of Army Ladies Football Club at the Sekondi Gyandu Park to stretch the lead on top of the Southern Zone League log to four points.
An outstanding team work inside the 15th minute mark saw Doris Boaduwaa fancying a one-on-one with goalkeeper Esther Sarpong and took her season tally to seven goals with a fine finish to the bottom left corner.
The lead was doubled 18 minutes later when an outstanding work on the right flank by Mary Opoku Ndali forced Naa Lameakor to turn the ball into her own net for Hasmal’s second goal on the afternoon.
Though the away fans were inspired by the second half team talk it was substitute Fidous Yakubu who teamed up with Doreen Copson, as the former’s free-kick was expertly headed in by the latter on the 73rd minute to make it 3–0.
How it happened
It was a cagey prediction as leaders of the zone set up an encounter against the second on the league log prior to the match day 15 encounter. Army Ladies were buoyed by the first round result where they reduced Hasmal to a 2 – 0 defeat at the El Wak Park.
The Visitors shone at the early stages and gave off a glimpse of what could happen if the charges of Yussif Basigi blinked an eye.
Grace Banwaa was hardly threatened yet the defence had some work to do to ensure the goalkeeper had no work to do.
Right inside the quarter mark, Hasmal inspired by a team work display registered the game’s first goal courtesy Doris Boaduwaa.
On the 33rd minute another goal was scored before sealing it off after recess to end the game 3 – 0.

Success Ameyaa and Doreen Copson were the midfield duo and on the flanks were Doris Boaduwaa and Comfort Owusu.
The front duo was Mary Ndali and Fatoumata Tamboura.
Success Ameyaa and Mary Ndali were subbed off for Fidous Yakubu and Veronica Kumah-Baah in the second half.

Hasaacas Ladies FC consolidates the lead at the top of the table by four points. Army Ladies drops to the third position six points adrift of Hasaascas Ladies while Faith Ladies takes the second position.
