Hasaacas Ladies finished their group stage campaign in the ongoing Women’s Premier Super Cup with a win over Northern Ladies.
Sylvia Osei came off the bench to net the goal which sealed the 1-0 win for the Hasmal Ladies on Wednesday morning.
Interim coach Mabel Baffoe Eshun made changes to the starting lineup that beat Supreme Ladies in the last game with Linda Epo, Mary Ndali and Vivian Cudjoe all coming into the team.
Hasaacas made a strong start to the game but were unable to find the back of the net while they limited Northern Ladies to few opportunities.
After a goalless half, Hasaacas came into the second half the stronger side and were rewarded in the 74th minute.
Sylvia, who replaced Epo, capitalised on a loose ball after Mercy Attobrah’s shot had been cleared to open the scoring in the game.
Belinda Ofori and Abiba Issah had their late efforts going wide of the post in the closing stages of the game.
The ended with Hasaacas holding onto their lead to maintain their 100% record start to the competition, picking up every point available.
They are also yet to concede in the tournament after theee games.
Hasaacas are now through to the semifinals of the competition where they face the second-placed team in Group B.
