Doris Boaduwaa and Grace Banwaa made the final squad for the Black Princesses ahead of the 2022 FIFA U20 Women’s World Cup.
The two Hasaacas Ladies players were among the final 23 players that left Ghana to France on Wednesday morning, July 27, 2022.
The two contributed to the team’s qualifiers and Coach Ben Fokuo has seen it needful to include them in the final squad.
Doris Boaduwaa, 19, played all the qualifying games leading to the Ghana U20 team booking a slot to Costa Rica for next month’s football major event.
She was involved in 16 goals, 9 goal and 5 assists in the just ended 2021/2022 Women’s Premier League season in just 14 appearances.

Grace Banwaa, 20, has been phenomenal for Hasaacas Ladies Football Club in the 2021/2022 Women’s Premier League season conceding the least goals and keeping the most clean sheets.
In 15 appearances, Banwaa kept 10 clean sheets, conceded 7 goals and made one assist for Hasaacas Ladies FC in the season gone by.

The duo were part of Hasaacas Ladies stellar 2020/2021 campaign where the Club picked 5 unprecedented titles including a silver medal at the CAF Women’s Champions League.
The Black Princesses are housed in a group with two former winners of the tournament; USA and holders Japan including emerging powerhouse Netherland.
The tournament kicks off on August 11 for Ghana against USA and games against Japan and Netherlands follow respectively.
