Evelyn Badu ended the TotalEnergies CAF Women’s Champions League with the Best Player and Top Scorer awards.
The makeshift supporting attacker powered in five goals, the most in the tournament to achieve both feats.
Evelyn Badu scored double against Malabo Kings and AS Mandé and got another in our semifinal clash against ASFAR of Morocco to maintain her grip of the awards.
Congratulations to @EvelynBadu15 for finishing as the first ever @CAFwomen Champions League top-scorer with five goals. #itsTimeItsNow#TotalEnergiesCAFWCL #Hasmal pic.twitter.com/VSkqEDI5EV

Badu, 18, outshined everyone in the tournament and despite losing the final to South Africa’s Mamelodi Sundowns, she had done enough to convince the CAF technical team for the prestigious honor.
