Hasaacas Ladies enjoyed a bright start to the 2024/25 Women’s FA Cup competition with a win over Samartex Ladies.

The Hasmal Ladies claimed a 3-1 win over their rivals at the Gyandu Park on Saturday, November 9, in the round of 64.

Goals from Abiba Issah, Sylvia Osei and Comfort Owusu ensured a winning start for the Takoradi-based side.

Abiba’s goal came in the first half of the fixture after a strong start by the home side.

Sylvia doubled the lead for Mabel Baffoe Eshun’s side after the recess before Samartex halved the deficit.

However, Comfort Owusu was on hand to restore the two-goal advantage for Hasaacas Ladies who run away with a 3-1 win.

The win also sees the club end a run of two games without a win after drawing with Soccer Intellectuals and losing to Police Ladies.
