Malta Guinness Women’s League champions Hasaacas Ladies emerged winners of the 2024 Champion of Champions following their win over Army Ladies.

Hasaacas Ladies defeated Army Ladies 2-0 at Ghanaman Soccer Center for Excellence in Prampram on Saturday, October 12, to clinch the title.

The Takoradi-based side netted the first goal of the game through Comfort Owusu in the 39th minute.

The right-back headed home Abiba Issah’s cross to open the scoring.

Mercy Attobrah then wrapped it up in the 74th minute to double the lead.

Army Ladies failed to make the most of their chances when they had the opportunity as Hasaacas held on to win the contest 2-0.

The match was a curtain raiser for the 2024/25 season which starts October, 18-21, 2024.
