Reigning Ghana Premier League champions, Hasaacas Ladies, picked up a point in their final game of the first round of the 2024/25 season.
The Hasmal Ladies played out a goalless draw on the road against Jonina Ladies at Auntie Park in Sowutuom.
The match, which took place on Friday, January 24, saw both teams unable to find the back of the net throughout the encounter.
The away side appeared the more threatening team, creating several opportunities but failing to capitalize on them.
Fidous Yakubu came closest to breaking the deadlock in the second half, but her free-kick was tipped over the crossbar by the Jonina goalkeeper, keeping the score level.
The result marks Hasaacas’ first draw since their 1-1 draw against LadyStrikers on matchday six of the league.
Despite the draw, the Takoradi-based side remains joint-top of the league, as Police Ladies also failed to secure a win in their match earlier in the day.
Hasaacas’ next game is another away fixture, this time against struggling Berry Ladies.
