Hasaacas Ladies suffered a second defeat to Dansoman-based Faith Ladies in the final round of matches in the first round of the Malta Guinness Women’s Premier League.

A first half injury time strike from Jennifer Kankam was enough for the home side to secure all the maximum points from the game.

The defeat has put Faith Ladies on the summit of the league log on 19 points, same as Hasaacas Ladies FC but for a better head to head advantage.

The Southern Zone Champions amassed 6 wins, a draw and two defeats from theninefirst
round games to finish tied on 19 points with Faith Ladies.

The second round of matches will continue with a game between Berry Ladies and Hasaacas Ladies at the McDan Park next on the drawing board.
