Tamboura’s Debut Double Help Hasmal Secure 4-1 Win Over Socrates

Burkinabe import Fatoumata Tamboura scored two goals on her debut to help Hasaacas Ladies FC return to winning ways with a 4-1 win against Essiam Socrates Ladies in the ongoing Malta Guinness Women’s Premier League.

Hasaacas Ladies FC suffered a double defeat on the road on match day 9 and 10 of the Women’s Premier League but returned to winning ways following a week 11 triumph over the newbies.

Coach Yussif Basigi handed a debut start to Fatoumata Tamboura who since her signing to Hasaacas Ladies FC in 2021 has struggled to play in any competition for the Giants.

The Burkinabé started in a front attacking trio with Veronica Kuma-Baah and Doris Boaduwaa.

In the middle of the park was a combined trio of Faustina Nyame Aidoo, Fidous Yakubu and Doreen Copson.

Back in defense: Goalkeeper Grace Banwaa was led by Comfort Owusu, Fatimata Fuseini, Abiba Issah and Linda Eshun.

Fatoumata Tamboura opened the score cards to see Hasaacas Ladies FC off to a flying start. The lead was canceled by the Visitors before the 25th minute mark.

Fidous Yakubu restored the lead for Hasaacas Ladies FC before the halftime break.

Fatoumata Tamboura added her personal second and Hasmal’s third.

Doris Boaduwaa sealed the flamboyant day for Hasmal as the game ended 4-1.

The team will make a trip to Police Ladies FC on match day 12 of the Women’s Premier League.
