Women’s Premier Super Cup: Hasaacas beat Faith Ladies to finish third

Hasaacas Ladies sealed another podium finish in the Women’s Premier Super Cup on Sunday at the Ghanaman Soccer Centre of Excellence.

Vivian Cudjoe and Mercy Attobrah were both on the scoresheet for the Hasmal Ladies as they sealed a 2-0 win.

Coach Mabel Baffoe Eshun made two changes to the starting lineup that lost to Dreamz Ladies in the semifinal with Vivian Cudjoe and Rita Musah coming into the starting lineup.

Vivian made a great start to the game as she pounced on a well-timed through pass before lobbing the ball over the Faith Ladies goalkeeper to put Hasaacas in the lead.

The winger turned provider minutes later as she made a brilliant run on the right flank before playing a square pass into the path of Mercy Attobraj who tucked home for the second goal of the game.

The Takoradi-based club came from the break and maintained their defensive form to get the job over the line.

The result leaves Hasaacas Ladies with four cleansheets in the five games they played in the competition.
